POST:                    Technical Support: Human Resources Management

SALARY:               R376 413.00 plus 37% in lieu of benefits

DURATION:           12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Requirements: Matric/NQF Level 4 Certificate plus a National Diploma (NQF level 6/bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management/ Public Administration. 5 - 7 years working experience in Human Resource Management, of which 3 years must be at supervisory level. Knowledge and understanding of HR related policies and processes, including Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, PFMA and CET Act, knowledge of PERSAL. Driver’s license: Code B.

Competencies, Abilities and Skills: Administrative, planning and organizing. Financial management. Report writing. Communication and interpersonal. Problem solving. Computer literacy. Analytical. Client oriented. Project management. Team leadership. Planning and organizing. People management, knowledge of Post Provisioning Norms (PPN) would be advantage.

Duties: Advocacy of reviewed HR policies; Crafting, advocating and implementation of HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s); coordination of Employment Equity Committee meetings; Lead, manage and implement  EE numerical targets; Establishment of PILLIR committee and ensures meetings sit; Assist in leave audit, particularly incapacity, identify trends, and come with interventions thereof; Suggest interventions to manage incapacity leave. Management of leave (scanning, capturing and reports to the Region and Department). Assessment/ analysis of College paid staff contracts in line with the approved budget allocation. Render Supervisory and management services to HR Staff, including the submission of performance agreements, reviews, leave and proper allocation of work.
