Tshwane North TVET College would like to invite suitably qualified, innovative, result-orientated and self – driven candidates to apply for the vacant contract positions at Central Office.

Project Management Officers X2 
SALARY: R3000.00 (Stipend per Month) 
DURATION: 18 Months Contract
CENTRE: Central Office
REF NO: TNC/CO/22 – 08/2

REQUIREMENTS: Matric certificate / National Certificate Vocational Level 4 certificate. A relevant National Diploma/Degree in Project Management/Marketing or equivalent qualification. Computer literacy, be able to use Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Project etc. Project management officers must possess advanced interpersonal skills to interact with staff members and external partners. Have strong leadership skills to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently. Project Management officers should have a high-level understanding of business processes and solutions, as well as a working knowledge of quality control methodologies. Knowledge of Project Planning and Management. Procedures, Practices and Techniques of Public Finance Management Act, OQSF (Occupational Qualification Sub framework as amended, Skills Development Act 97 of 1988 as amended and NQF Act related regulations. Knowledge of (Word, Excel, Access, Power point presentation Microsoft Project and Microsoft Teams. Knowledge of Occupational Qualification will be an advantage. A valid Driver’s licence.

DUTIES:  

● Identify project needs and develop a detailed timeline for completion. 

● Coordinate a Project Management team and delegate tasks. 

● Monitor expenditures and create detailed reports for the project manager. 

● Keep track of a project’s progress and ensure its completion before the deadline. 

● Work within budget constraints. 

● Implement changes to the project team and processes as and when needed. keeping track of progress and ensuring activities' completion. 

● Help to set up project meetings.  

● Handle the minute-taking at meetings. 

● Assist in planning. 

● Keep the project calendar up to date. 

● Maintain Compliance regulations.  


APPLICATIONS: Applications must be submitted on the fully completed on the new Z83 form obtainable from any Public Service Department, and MUST include a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae, copies of qualifications, transcript of the highest qualification, ID and driver’s license.  All required documents need not be certified when applying for a post, only shortlisted candidates for the post will be required to submit certified documents on or before the day of the interview following communication from HR.  Please ensure that your completed application form includes a reference number and the position you are applying for.
