Requirements:
Matric/NQF Level 4 Certificate plus a recognized National Diploma/Degree in Marketing / Communication / Public Management / Relations (NQF Level 6) or equivalent qualification. At least 2 - 3 years’ experience in Marketing and Communication environment. Knowledge of social media practice and channels. Understanding of the importance of brand guidelines, graphic design and applying across a range of channels. Knowledge and understanding of stakeholder management. Knowledge of events management. Knowledge and understanding of digital marketing. Knowledge and understanding of website maintenance. Knowledge and understating of the application of Public Service legislative framework. A valid drivers’ license.
Duties:
Develop Marketing Management Operational Plan, Liaison with external markets across the College’s catchment area through Public Relations activities. Organize and support career exhibitions, school visits, campus visits etc. Network with relevant role-players and stakeholders by attending functions, workshops, exhibitions and Imbizos. Conduct student and internal market research. Develop and administer surveys. Maintain the corporate image across delivery sites. Organize and participate in internal and external functions and events. Support the co-ordination of college events Ensure the college is aligned to the current social media practices and channels. Ensure the development and implementation of brand guidelines, graphic design digital marketing, and website maintenance.
