POST: Lecturer: Relief for English First Additional Language(PL1)
SALARY: R256395.00 plus 37% in lieu of benefits
DURATION: 3 Months Fixed Term Contract

Requirements: Matric certificate plus an appropriate M+3 Qualification (National diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree) having majored in English First Language or First Additional Language. Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) SACE registration. Teaching experience in English is key. Assessor/Moderator qualification will be an added advantage, Knowledge of Legislation governing the sector.
Duties: The incumbent will be responsible for teaching L2 – L4 English subject. Conducting assessments and marking of tasks. Preparation of files (POA; POE and Subject file). Organize relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject, learning area of the learners are conducted in a proper manner. Assess and record the attainment of learners. Assist with the issuing and retrieval of textbooks and management of equipment etc. Organize experiential training for students. Report and account for student performance in their programmes. Record and report on absenteeism and perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning.
