Tshwane North TVET College would like to invite suitably qualified, innovative, result-orientated and self–driven candidates to apply for the Contract Facilitator & Assessor position at Pretoria Campus. 

 

Facilitator & Assessor: Beauty and Nail Technology (Post Level 1) (Re-Advertisement)

Ref: TNC/PTA/22 – 04/1

SALARY:  R214 908 per annum plus 37% in Lieu of benefits  

DURATION: 12 months 

 

REQUIREMENTS: • Further Education Training Certificate: Beauty & Nail Technology or any relevant qualification in Beauty and Nail Technology. • Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience. Matric/Grade 12 Certificate • Must be computer literate. • Computer literacy (MS Office packages/Management Information System skill. • Excellent communications in English (written and verbal). • Organising, planning and administrative skills. • Ability to monitor students’ performances and provide feedback in an objective and professional manner. • Ability to relate to the students in a professional manner and promote a conducive teaching and learning environment. • Artisanship qualification is a required. • Valid Driver’s License. • Registration with Services SETA as an Assessor and Moderator is a requirement. 

 

DUTIES:  • Conduct theoretical and practical classes as per the qualification requirements • Organize relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject, learning area of the learners are conducted in a proper manner • Assess and record the attainment of learners • Assist with the issuing and management of learning resources and equipment • Monitor the Work placement for students • Report and account for student performance in their programmes • Record and report on absenteeism and perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning. • Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of Quality Assurance. • Have the ability to plan, organise work and to work on own initiative. • Upload and control learners’ Portfolio of Evidence.
