STRATEGIC PLANNING OFFICER (RE-ADVERTISEMENT)

 

Nature of Appointment: Permanent Appointment

Salary: R321 543 per annum (Level 08) plus benefits

Requirements:

Matric / NQF Level 4 Certificate plus a recognised National Diploma / Degree in Public Administration / Management (NQF Level 6) or equivalent qualification. Application of the MS Office Package (Word, Power Point and Excel). A good understanding of the National Development Plan (2030) and MTSF Priorities. Understanding of planning, performance monitoring and evaluation. Knowledge of MIS.  At least 2 - 3 years working experience within the Administration / MIS environment. A valid driver’s license. A post graduate qualification at NQF Level 8 will be an added advantage.

 

Duties: 

Manage and coordinate the development and application of the college strategic planning processes. Facilitate annual performance planning and reporting. Facilitate the development and maintenance of measurable performance indicators for all business units. Monitor and evaluate the performance of business units /campuses against the Annual Performance and Operational Work Plans. Coordination of data collection, initiatives, and reporting in support of college processes. Collaborates with business units and line managers to produce plans and evaluates the plans on a periodic basis.
