SALARY: R244 884.00 plus 37% in lieu of benefits

DURATION:  August 2023 to August 2026

CENTRE: Mamelodi Campus

 

REQUIREMENTS: Matric or NQF Level 4 plus an appropriate M+3 Qualification (National Diploma/Artisans/Trade Test certificate in the above–mentioned field/subject, trades, and professions. Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).  Assessor/Moderator qualification will be an added advantage. Knowledge of Legislation governing the sector.
 

DUTIES:

Facilitation: Provide Academic support to Learners. Promote quality facilitation and learning. Lesson planning and preparation of tasks to suit the level of students. Facilitate apprenticeship classes on the above-mentioned subject/s. Assist learners to develop Portfolio of Evidence (PoE). Conduct regular assessment of the learners’ activities. Prepare learners for Formative and Summative assessments. Monitor and evaluate learners when engaged in the workshop activities.  Organize relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject/s, learning areas of the learners are conducted in a proper manner and are according to the National Artisanship Development Policy.

 

Administration:  Assess and record the attainment of learners.  Assist with the issuing of learning materials and management of equipment, tools etc. Workshop management and supervision.  Report and account for student performance in their Assessment Reports. Report on absenteeism and perform other relevant duties within the ambit of parent facilitator by setting maintenance of professional ethics, motivation, and punctuality. Ensure a conducive teaching and learning culture and environment.  Apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of student discipline. Prepare for  Work based/industrial Exposure monitoring.
