EXTERNAL MODERATOR: TOURISM

REF NO: TNC/PTA/24 – 11/1

DURATION: 2025 - 2027

 

REQUIREMENTS: A relevant three-year teaching qualification (REQV 13) with 3 years lecturing experience and 2 years’ experience as a moderator in the following subjects: Travel Services, Tourism Office Procedure, Tourist Destination and Hotel Reception. Must be qualified as an assessor and moderator. Registration with SACE.

 

DUTIES AS THE MODERATOR: Moderate ICASS tasks as per required sample number by DHET for the following subjects: Travel Services, Tourism Office Procedure, Tourist Destination and Hotel Reception. Record the marks in the DHET moderation report template. Compile report on the findings and give feedback to the respective subject lecturers.

 

APPLICATIONS: Applications must be submitted on the fully completed new Z83 form obtainable from any Public Service Department, and MUST include a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae, copies of qualifications, transcript of the highest qualification, ID and driver’s license. All required documents need not be certified when applying for a post, only shortlisted candidates for the post will be required to submit certified documents on or before the day of the interview following communication from HR. Please ensure that your completed application form includes a reference number and the position you are applying for.
