SALARY: R218 064.00 plus 37% in lieu of benefits

REQUIREMENTS: Matric certificate plus an appropriate M+3 Qualification (National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree) in Clothing production / Fashion Design. One year of industry experience as a supervisor in the Fashion / Clothing factory, Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) will be an added advantage. Knowledge of legislation governing the sector.
DUTIES: Oversee manufacturing operations and supervise operators. Make sure there is enough stock on fabrics. Meet deadlines at all times. Plan production and meetings. Monitor daily, weekly and monthly targets, worker schedules, and machine maintenance schedules. Control product quality by making sure that the product meets the level of quality demanded by the customer and Improve productivity. Investigate the root cause of poor product quality and come up with solutions. Be responsible for administration in the factory. Must coordinate and enforce systems, policies and procedures.
