SMME Opportunity & Partnership between UJ & TNC

The GPG Fourth Industrial Revolution Strategy has entered a dynamic collaboration with the University of Johannesburg and Tshwane North TVET College, marking a strategic effort to elevate the capabilities of Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs). Focused on entities specializing in Internet services, software development, telecommunication products (telephones), website development, security systems installations, and office equipment maintenance (copiers & fax), the collaboration aims to empower these Information and Communication Technology (ICT) based SMMEs. The initiative is open to applications from eligible businesses, fostering an environment of innovation and growth within the local entrepreneurial landscape.

By leveraging the expertise and resources of both the University of Johannesburg and Tshwane North TVET College, this collaborative effort seeks to bridge the gap in skills and knowledge, providing targeted support to SMMEs operating in crucial sectors of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Through this initiative, the GPG Fourth Industrial Revolution Strategy demonstrates a commitment to nurturing a thriving ecosystem of technologically adept businesses, aligning with the broader goals of advancing economic development and digital innovation within the region.
