China Enterprise Delegation visit to TNC for Partnership and Linkages: Towards China-SA Vocation Education and Technology and Skills Transfer

TNC representatives, Mr Consival Masithi, Mr Thamsanqa Thambe and Mr Raymond Dladla under the leadership of the accounting officer of the institution Ms Thembi Tsibogo received delegates from Chinese enterprise represented by Zeng Botao, Zhang, Ying, Lin, Haipeng and Dr Xiaomei Havard on the 12th October 2024 at the Pretoria campus.

The visit was to explore potential vocational education development cooperation between TNC, Xinyada Group, and Zhongye Technology in the following fields: AI, Robotics, Intelligent Manufacturing, ICT Training, Smart Engineering, Digitalization, Curriculum Development, Trainers' Training, Skills Training, International Student Exchange Programs, the establishment of joint skills training colleges (Mining, Agriculture, Energy, Water, Ocean Economics, Nursing, ICT, Tourism, Transportation, Business, etc.) in South Africa, Research and Development, and more.

The parties sealed the engagement by signing of the MOU which encompassed the importance of cooperation in the field of digital education, through resource sharing, academic exchanges, standard development, professional construction, jointly improve the quality of education, cultivate international competitive digital talents, help the quartet in sustainable development in the field of international education,
