Celebrating Success: Graduation Ceremony at Heartfelt Arena
On October 4, 2024, Tshwane North TVET College hosted a memorable graduation ceremony at the Heartfelt Arena, celebrating its graduates' academic achievements and hard work. This event marked a significant milestone in the students' lives, who have now completed their respective programs and are ready to embark on their professional journeys.
In her welcoming address, the college principal, Ms. Thembi Tsibogo, set the tone for the day with an inspiring message: “Today is a day of celebration, a culmination of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. We are gathered here to honour the achievements of these beautiful people today. It is a day that we are marking a significant milestone in their academic and professional journey.”
The ceremony was a proud moment for the graduates as they walked across the stage, cheered on by family and friends. Each graduate’s accomplishment was a testament to their resilience and commitment to their studies.
The graduation also highlighted the essential contributions of sponsors, who played a key role in supporting the day’s proceedings. Oxford University, Future Managers, MacMillan, and Maskew Miller generously sponsored the NCV (National Certificate Vocational) program students. Their contributions provided top achievers with awards, including bags, trophies, headsets, and tablets, as a recognition of their exceptional performance.
The Nated program also enjoyed support from several sponsors, including Oxford University, Future Managers, MacMillan, Saben and Supported Employment Enterprises a subsidiary the Department of Labour. The top-performing students in this program were awarded bags, trophies, tablets, and a laptop for the overall achiever with a R2500 voucher from Supported Employment Enterprises.
In addition, the college celebrated the excellence of its six top lecturers. Thanks to the generous contributions from SSG, ELDNA Security, ABSA, Mveledziso, Adapt IT, TGP, and Andi-Beauty. Lecturers were honoured with prizes such as 50-inch plasma TVs and massage vouchers for their outstanding dedication to academic success. Furthermore, the overall achiever among lecturers was awarded with a R5000 voucher from the Supported Employment Enterprises.
As graduates exited the Heartfelt Arena with smiles on their faces, it was clear that this was not just the end of an academic journey but the beginning of new opportunities and adventures.
