PRETORIA CAMPUS DISABILITY PROJECT

  • SKILLS PROGRAMME: GARMENT MAKING LEVEL 2 (30 Beneficiaries)
  • SKILLS PROGRAMME: BREAD, FLOUR, AND CONFECTIONARY BAKING LEVEL 2 (30 Beneficiaries)

 

SKILLS PROGRAMME: GARMENT MAKING LEVEL 2 (30 Beneficiaries)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be unemployed.
  • Applicants must not be currently registered with any institution for a qualification and not enrolled in any Learnership Programme.
  • Applicants must be South African citizens and have a valid SA ID Document
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old.
  • Applicants MUST reside in the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality (proof of physical address to be attached when applying).
  • Applicants should be able to Hear, Read, Write, and have Eyesight.
  • Our workshop is wheelchair accessible.
  • Include a disability confirmation letter from the doctor/clinic/hospital.

 

SKILLS PROGRAMME: BREAD, FLOUR, AND CONFECTIONARY BAKING LEVEL 2 (30 Beneficiaries)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 9 or Equivalent Qualifications e.g. (ABET Level 4)
  • Applicants must be unemployed.
  • Applicants must not be currently registered with any institution for a qualification and not enrolled in any Learnership Programme.
  • Applicants must be South African citizens and must have a valid SA ID Document
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old.
  • Applicants MUST reside in the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality (proof of physical address to be attached when applying).
  • Applicants should be able to Hear, Read, Write, and have Eyesight.
  • Ability to stand and walk for longer periods during training.
  • Include a disability confirmation letter from the doctor/clinic/hospital.

 

Responsibilities:

As a Learner, you are expected to complete your qualification in record time and in line with your contract agreement for the stipulated period.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have a grade 9 or equivalent qualification with Mathematics Literacy, and Communication. In evaluating prospective applicants and making the final selection, consideration will be given to residents of City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality.

Successful beneficiaries will be entitled to the following benefits:

  • Disability Allowance: Assistive Devices, Allowance for transport, & training consumables.
  • Learner Daily Allowance.
