REQUIREMENTS: A recognised Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Development Studies, or a related field. A minimum of three (3) years' relevant experience in enterprise development, incubation, acceleration, entrepreneurship support, business advisory services, or project management. Experience in facilitating entrepreneurship training, mentoring, coaching, and business development support to entrepreneurs and SMMEs. Knowledge of Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) programmes, incubation and acceleration methodologies, proposal writing, stakeholder management, and monitoring and evaluation systems. Strong project management, report-writing,presentation, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other relevant business applications. Professional registration with a recognised business coaching, mentoring, or advisory body such as the Institute of Business Advisors South Africa (IBASA) or the Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (COMENSA) will serve as an added advantage. Certification as a GrowthWheel Advisor will also be an added advantage. A valid driver's licence and the ability to drive are essential requirements for this position. Candidates must be willing and able to travel regularly between College campuses, stakeholder sites, entrepreneurship programme venues, and partner organisations.
DUTIES: Plan, coordinate, and implement funded incubation and acceleration programmes in line with CEI objectives and funder requirements. Support the Centre Manager in achieving the College's Annual Performance Plan (APP) entrepreneurship targets. Provide entrepreneurship training, mentoring, coaching, and business advisory support to programme participants. Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation tools, maintain programme records and databases, and compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Assist with the development of Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) proposals, funding applications, and partnership initiatives.
Coordinate Local SMME Development Workshops and entrepreneurship support programmes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and enterprise development agencies. Liaise with the Marketing and Administration Officer to promote CEI programmes and increase stakeholder participation. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry, government, funders, and entrepreneurship support organisations. Mentor and coach CEI interns on business development and programme implementation activities. Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by the Centre Manager in support of the Centre's strategic objectives.
