ADMIN CLERK: ASSETS AND SCM (2 POSTS)
Nature of Appointment: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Salary: R193 359 per annum (Level 4) plus 37% in lieu of benefits
Centre: Central Office – Ref: TNC/CO/26-01/7
REQUIREMENTS: A three-year National diploma in public administration/financial management/supply chain management or equivalent qualification with Basic knowledge in supply chain management.
Computer literate with Excel and Word. Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA), Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) Act, Knowledge of asset disposal procedure, Knowledge of assets management. Knowledge of ITS (Integrated Tertiary Software) systems will be an added advantage.
Understanding and interpretation of applicable system and Central Supplier Database(CSD). Good organisational and administrative skills, excellent analytical skills, verbal and writing skills, with a high degree for confidentiality. Ability to work under pressure and long hours.
DUTIES: Render demand and acquisition clerical support; Register suppliers on Integrated Tertiary Software (ITS); Request and receive quotations; Capture specification on the electronic purchasing system; Place orders; Issue and receive quotations; Provide secretariat or logistical support during the bid consideration and contract conclusion process , Compile draft documents as required, Render logistical services, Receive and verify goods from suppliers, Capture goods in registers database, Receive request for goods from end users, Issue goods to end users, Maintain goods register, Update and maintain register of suppliers, Render asset management clerical support, Compile and maintain records, Check and issue furniture, equipment and accessories to components and individuals, Identify redundant ,non-serviceable and obsolete equipment for disposal, Verify assets register.
