Following this, Ms Mahlase shared her reflections on Striking a Balance Between Marriage and Building a Career, addressing the complexities many women face in balancing multiple roles.
The highlight of the morning was the keynote address delivered by Ms Muthadi CA(SA), who shared her professional journey and encouraged women to embrace opportunities, break barriers, and lead with confidence. Her words inspired attendees to view Women’s Day not only as a celebration, but also as a call to action for progress and equality.
Musical performances by the band brought vibrancy and joy to the programme, offering uplifting interludes between the discussions.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Ms Masemola, Pretoria Campus Manager, who expressed appreciation to all participants, speakers, and organisers. Guests were then treated to a session of networking and refreshments and received gifts over high tea, which added a thoughtful touch to the occasion.
The Women’s High Tea was a resounding success, embodying the spirit of Women’s Month and reinforcing Tshwane North TVET College’s role in advancing empowerment, wellness, and leadership among women.
