TNC Celebrates The 2026 Cohort of Graduates
Tshwane North TVET College successfully hosted its annual 2026 Spring graduation ceremony at the ACPP Hall in Pretoria West on 18 September 2026. This event served as a powerful testament to the hard work, resilience and dedication of the graduating cohort, marking the transition from rigorous academic training to the professional world.
The ceremony featured the traditional academic procession which included the Principal, Ms Thembi Tsibogo, Campus Managers, Council members, lecturers and the different unit managers. The speech delivered by the Principal emphasised the necessity of lifelong learning, adaptability and ethical practice in the modern workplace. The guest speaker of the day was Dr Thabo Mashongoane, CEO of the Mining Qualification Authority. In his address, Dr Mashongoane emphasised the importance of obtaining a good education and making use of opportunities that are available to graduates.
Each graduand called to the podium reflected more than just a formal recognition; it was an acknowledgment of a student’s journey toward self-sufficiency and professional competence. The pride evident on the faces of the graduates and their families reflected the profound impact that accessible, high-quality training has on individual lives and the broader community.
As the graduates walked across the stage, they stepped into a future defined by the skills they had honed during their time at the college. The 2026 ceremony was not merely a conclusion but a launchpad, signaling that these newly minted professionals are prepared to contribute significantly to their respective fields.
The ceremony also highlighted the strong partnerships that Tshwane North TVET College fosters with industry and community organizations. The success of the ceremony was made possible in collaboration through the sponsorships received from Loreal Professional, ABSA, Eldna Security Services, Oxford University Press, African Tool CC, Future Managers, Maskew Miller Learning, MerSETA, AMTEC Techniquip and El Chocolatier.
