Success Story: Tshwane North TVET College Achieves an Unqualified Audit opinion for the financial period 2024/2025

Tshwane North TVET College (TNC) is pleased to announce a significant milestone in its commitment to excellence, transparency and sound financial management on the successful attainment of an unqualified audit report for the financial year 2024–2025.

This significant accomplishment, as confirmed by the Auditor-General of South Africa, is a clear indication of the College’s commitment to sound financial management, compliance with regulatory frameworks and the consistent application of good governance principles. An unqualified audit opinion reflects that the College’s financial statements are free from material misstatements and present a fair and accurate view of its financial position.

This outstanding achievement is the result of collective dedication and hard work within all levels of the institution, from executive management, lecturing and council to administrative and support staff. It also demonstrates an effective implementation of internal controls, prudent financial oversight and a culture of accountability across all operations of the College.

Principal Ms. Thembi Tsibogo, speaking on the achievement, stated:

“This unqualified audit outcome is more than just a financial milestone; it is a reflection of the integrity, professionalism and accountability that define Tshwane North TVET College. It affirms our continued commitment to delivering quality education while ensuring that public funds are managed with the highest level of responsibility.”

The achievement aligns with the Department of Higher Education and Training’s objectives for improved governance and financial performance across the TVET sector. It also strengthens stakeholder confidence, positioning the College as a reliable and transparent institution serving the youth of South Africa.

As Tshwane North TVET College looks to the future, this achievement serves as both a proud moment and stepping stone towards even greater institutional excellence which seeks to attain the objectives of National Development Plan, 2030. The College remains committed to its vision of being “an Innovative centre of excellence in skills development”

Let us continue to work together to build on this success for future achievements.
